Corrective Exercise

Corrective Exercises are therapeutic exercises that correct postural deviations.  Simple exercises are given that have a profound effect on the body.


For example, an exercise to help ease low back pain is:

  • Lay on back with both knees held to chest with both hands
  • Hold for 30 seconds while breathing deeply
  • Repeat three times


Corrective Exercises are used:

  • With the assistance of a foam roller
  • On the floor, chair or standing

They are performed at home and twice a day between visits.  You will receive approximately 3-4 corrective exercises to adjust your posture.


If done daily, results are seen in the first two weeks.
